Waves on the cliff drag her into the sea: a woman dies in the waters of Arbus

The waves crashing on the cliffs of Portu Maga dragged her into the sea . She died like this, in the rough waters of Arbus , a 62-year-old Irish tourist .

The tragedy occurred this evening . The search and recovery of the woman was immediate by the Alghero Fire Brigade Flight Department and the Cagliari divers, with the help of the Drago 144 helicopter that took off from the Alghero base at the request of the Oristano Port Authority.
After locating the person in the sea, a specialist diver was lowered into the strong undertow to recover the lifeless body of the tourist from the high waves. There was nothing that could be done for her. The body was brought back to land at the disposal of the authorities.
