If the uncivilized allow themselves to dirty one of the most beautiful beaches in Sardinia, the mayor together with the members of her council intervene promptly.

The first citizen of Stintino , Rita Vallebella, supported by the councilors and a group of volunteers, had to roll up her sleeves in front of a bleak show , set up on Easter day by those who ignore the rules of good manners and respect for environment, complete with waste paper and plastic, food and cardboard residues , thrown on the ground near the waste containers positioned along the platforms that lead to the splendid La Pelosa beach.

The "dirty" tourists took advantage of the beautiful sunny day , going beyond all limits, consuming their meals and ignoring all civil behavior and common sense rules. Once lunch was over, they saw fit to dirty and leave clear traces of food and any other waste in front of the containers .

The wind has played its part. Then they abandoned the coast, saying goodbye to the jewel beach which enjoys a protection plan developed by the municipal administration . And the exponents of the executive, who care about that stretch of coast, did not hesitate for a moment to clean up the area, restoring dignity to the "precious" beach of the village of Stintino.

The mayor in the front row, followed by the councilors, collected every scrap of paper and plastic bags , a job carried out with the help of some volunteers sensitive to the protection of the landscape, an invaluable heritage of the territory.
