The “Italo Stagno” institute of Is Mirrionis in Cagliari will host the 180 pupils who were unable to start the school year this morning due to the unusability of the primary school in via Stockholma .

There is no official confirmation, but this is the solution that is materializing. Tomorrow the school board is expected to make a final decision on the matter.

This afternoon an inspection was carried out at the school in via Is Mirrionis : many parents seem convinced because at the moment it appears to be the only viable solution for starting lessons.

The deputy mayor Giorgio Angius and the municipal councilors for Education and Public Works, Marina Adamo and Gabriella Deidda, participated in the inspection. With them the principal Marcella Vacca , the president of the school council Pino Aquila , the guarantor for childhood and adolescence Carla Puligheddu and a representation of parents of the young students.

«Now there are the elements to decide, it is essential to start the school year as soon as possible », said Aquila.

The school could be ready in the next few days, the conditions according to those who participated in the inspection are good.
