The rescue operations of the speleologist who had been blocked since Sunday afternoon in the “S'Edera” cave in the territory of Urzulei continue unabated.

A note from the Alpine Rescue explains: "During the night, at about 3 o'clock, the victim was reached and once his health conditions were ascertained, he was stabilized on the stretcher and transported for a stretch of 300 meters , until he reached the a place where there are vertical shafts where it is not possible to continue easily with the stretcher ".

"In this place, at about 5:30 and almost 200 meters from the exit, the victim was placed and the clearing of the narrow passages began, using micro explosive charges put in place by the specialist staff of the CNSAS , specially formed ”, continues the press release.

In the last hours the operators present on the spot ( almost 40 rescuers ) have alternated, but the operations have not stopped.
The Drago helicopter of the Alghero fire brigade is also in action, for the transport of some medical devices necessary for the stabilization of the victim.

"At the moment - continues the Alpine Rescue - the speleological activities in the cave have resumed, following the turnover of personnel and will continue, presumably, even at night".
