A pensioner was found lifeless in his home in Uras: Efisio Biancu, a 71-year-old former surveyor, died of natural causes. The alarm was raised by workers who were supposed to intervene in via Eleonora but a Fiat Punto prevented them from continuing with the work to fix the fiber optic cables . So they tried to track down the owner of the small car, rang the doorbell of his house and tried to contact him on the phone several times. All in vain: no answer. At that point, since not even the neighbors had seen him for a few days, the alarm was raised .
The municipal police and firefighters intervened on the spot and forced entry into the house, finding Efisio Biancu lying on the floor. The doctor later confirmed that it was a natural death, presumably dating back to about ten days ago. The body has already been buried in the Uras cemetery.
