In Stintino, the minimum temperature was 27 degrees Celsius. The coolest Sardinian town was Gavoi, at 10.5 degrees Celsius. However, only a few towns on the island (Villanova Strisaili 10.8, Illorai 11.8, Sadali and Giave 14.8) experienced any significant temperatures. The vast majority of measurements from the network of monitoring stations operated by the ARPAS meteorological department in the last few hours recorded temperatures above 20 degrees Celsius, the threshold for a "tropical" night. And this is just a taste, according to the Civil Protection Department. Because the next night will be even hotter , following a red-flagged day where, locally, temperatures could reach above 41 degrees Celsius.

The tropical climate was uniform throughout Sardinia. During the night in Aritzo, temperatures did not fall below 19.5 degrees Celsius, while in Fonni the night passed without the temperature falling below 20.4 degrees Celsius. On Mount Limbara, the minimum was 20.8 degrees Celsius. Not much difference compared to Cagliari, in the Molentargius area, where the coolest point was 22 degrees Celsius.

Immediately after Stintino, the hottest locations overnight were Narcao Monte Rosas, with 25.6 degrees Celsius. San Teodoro followed with 24.9, followed by Sardara with 24.6.

Meanwhile, we are currently entering the critical band indicated by the regional Civil Protection for "high temperatures."
