We still have to wait for the full reopening of Viale Merello in Cagliari, whose upper section (from Piazza d'Armi to the Via Is Maglias roundabout) has been closed from 6:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. since last Monday . A city council order has extended the traffic ban, along with parking on both sides, for another week: from Monday, July 21st to Saturday, July 26th.

The extension, explains the Municipality of Cagliari, "was necessary to allow for the completion of maintenance and safety work involving tree pruning. The extension will also allow for further interventions, in accordance with the needs and concerns raised by residents during the public meeting to present the avenue's redevelopment project, which took place in recent days ."

Vehicle circulation in the upper part of Viale Merello will be permitted only to the vehicles of the company carrying out the work, vehicles that need to access commercial activities in the area, and residents of homes in the section affected by the work .
