A car caught fire last night in Tortolì. The flames engulfed a car parked on Via Campidano, in a parking lot outside the Conad supermarket. The vehicle was being used by a young local man.

Investigators are favoring arson. Firefighters, who arrived shortly after 3:00 a.m., extinguished the fire and cleared the area.

Carabinieri from the Lanusei company also arrived on site—the Zunturinu neighborhood—and are conducting investigations to identify the person responsible for the raid.
