An Open Day at the Cagliari Fair expressly dedicated to third doses for all categories with mandatory vaccination, i.e. police forces, health personnel and school personnel.

It will be held on Sunday 5th December. In the hub, "booster" doses will be administered from 9 to 13 and from 14 to 18 and access will be free, without reservation.

"It is an open day entirely dedicated to the categories for which vaccination is required - underlines the President of the Region Christian Solinas - which we have organized to give a further acceleration to the immunization process with a dose booster".

“Sardinia - says the governor - continues to achieve important results in the vaccination campaign against Covid and we continue to field all that is necessary to defend the health of citizens and our economy in this particularly delicate moment. Even the administration of third doses - underlines Solinas - is growing in a comforting way, while we are planning the actions to be taken while waiting for the green light to vaccinate the little ones, in the range from 5 to 11 years. It is the right path to follow ”, concludes the governor.

On the occasion of Sunday's open day, the staff employed in the hub will be strengthened: 12 doctors will be employed per shift (12 in the morning and 12 in the evening); 5 administrators and 20 nurses to limit the waits for all those who will go to the Fair.

"Even at the same time as the athletics event scheduled in Cagliari - specifies a note - and which will involve various areas of the city of Cagliari by limiting traffic, access to the Fair from via Pessagno will be guaranteed throughout the day. (access from the median axis) ".
