They got a fine in Golfo Aranci for parking their camper in a no-parking lot . But what ruined their vacation was "the way the traffic police treated us", and not the 29 euro fine . The story is that of the two Tuscan influencers Nick and Silvia , who on board their " motor home " (that's what they call it), together with their two cats Cosmo and Hope, travel the world and promote every new destination on the web. And this time the spotlight was on the Island. But the stop in Northern Sardinia - followed by their loyal community - didn't go according to plan and the (mis)adventure ended up on the social profiles "StrayCats.Life" , which translated into Italian means "life of stray cats".

"Friends, we moved to a new place because we were forced to leave the parking lot where we were before ," explains Nick, who reconstructs what happened shortly before, on board the camper. Around lunchtime - he continues - "the local police approached and, gesticulating, told us to go away." No doubts: at that point the couple, realizing their mistake, began to prepare to leave the lot. "In the meantime, other campers approached," and shortly after came the new invitation to leave the area.

“Unfortunately,” Silvia points out, “we needed a few minutes to put things right. It’s not like a car, where you turn it on and drive off right away.” But the traffic warden didn’t wait, continuing to ask to vacate the parking space “snapping his fingers.” There, the couple changed their attitude: “We asked not to be disrespectful, saying that we would also start responding appropriately. We asked for two minutes to put everything right and leave, otherwise we would pay the fine, being in the wrong.”

In the end the fine arrived, "we paid it and left. But we felt bad about the lack of respect, because we didn't expect it."
