Tragedy in Alghero: 59-year-old man dies in front of his wife while bathing.

Tragedy at sea on the Alghero coast. The victim is Daniele Falconi , a 59-year-old local resident, who fell ill while swimming.

It happened in the afternoon, on the beach of San Giovanni. He was at the seaside with his wife when, a few minutes after entering the water, he felt ill and lost consciousness.

He was then brought back to shore, where a doctor, present on the scene, immediately began resuscitation efforts. All attempts were futile. The 118 emergency medical workers who had rushed to the scene also had to give up, but there was nothing they could do for the man.
