Sardinia continues to burn on August 15th: helicopters are fighting the fires in Arzana, Villaurbana, and Lodè.
Two fires broke out in the countryside of the two towns, with four aircraft deployed to put out the flames. Another fire broke out in Lodè this evening.

Sardinia continues to burn, even on the day of August 15th. Two large fires broke out this morning on the island, one in Arzana , in Ogliastra. and Villaurbana in the Oristano area
In the Arzana countryside, flames hit the Costa Crareu area. Two light helicopters took off from the San Cosimo and Sorgono bases. The GAUF (Fire Analysis and Use Group) from Lanusei was also present.
In the Zicchiria area, in Villaurbana , a Super Puma and a light helicopter from Fenosu intervened.
This afternoon, a fire broke out in the Lodè area (Nuoro), in the "Punta Castello" area. The Forestry Corps responded immediately with air support from the Superpuma, the regional fleet's heavy helicopter, which took off from the Alà dei Sardi base. A second helicopter from the regional fleet was deployed to contain the flames.
