Two twenty-year-olds from Sassari were recovered after getting lost during an excursion .

The intervention of the National Alpine and Speleological Rescue Corps ended late yesterday evening: the alarm went off at 9 pm when the father of one of the two young people asked for help from rescuers not seeing them return. EM and AF had gone out in the afternoon to take a walk in the Valle dei Ciclamini , in the territory of Sassari , but as darkness fell the two lost their orientation without being able to return to their car.

The technicians of the Sassari station started the research together with the fire brigade and the Carabinieri. Around 10.20 pm the boys managed to communicate with their families to reassure them and, thanks to their coordinates, the rescuers reached them.

They were both in good health and no medical intervention was required.
