A 48-year-old Neapolitan was reported on the loose for fraud aggravated by the carabinieri of Muravera.

The man got into trouble following the lawsuit filed by a 50-year-old from Quartu resident in Muravera who told the military that she had received a text message from an unknown number with which an anomaly was reported on her current account. Later she was contacted on the phone by a fake operator of the Italian Post Office who had induced her to carry out, through the ATM, operations that were supposed to be used to protect her savings. Instead he had actually transferred € 1,300 to a Postepay Evolution card, which turned out to be in the 48-year-old's name. The scammer was identified thanks to investigations by the carabinieri.
