The sea areas in front of the polygons are not enough: there is also a vast body of water in front of the Forte Village and numerous residences among the spaces closed to navigation in this October of military exercises in Sardinia. The ordinances posted on the bulletin boards of the various Coast Guard commands have multiplied in recent days.

They impose bans, prohibitions, evictions: all issued - the last on 19 October - to ensure that the Open Sea 2022, second part, after the spring one, can proceed without disturbance.

The largest exercise of the year of the Navy, as defined by the Ministry of Defense, with the US Navy clearly writing: the Open Sea will also take place to test the possible application of article 5 of the founding act of the Atlantic pact . The one that provides, in summary, that all allies must intervene in the event of an attack on one of the adhering countries.
