The Eunice storm also arrives in Italy, and on Sardinia it blows the mistral wind with gusts of gale that on average are touching 35/40 knots (between 70 and 85 km / h) but which in some areas more exposed to north-northwest of the island, they reach peaks of 100 kilometers per hour.

The perturbation that has created serious damage in Europe, according to the forecasts of the Weather Office of the Air Force of Decimomannu (Cagliari), will not bring rain, however, but only scattered clouds with some rain on the reliefs.

What worries the regional civil protection, which has issued an alert, however, are the wind and possible storm surges on the most exposed coasts.

The warning of adverse weather conditions will remain in effect until 6 am on Tuesday 22 February.

"Already tomorrow, however, the situation will tend to normalize, but as the perturbation moves away towards the Aegean - explain from the AM Weather Office - the air is colder and we expect a drop in temperatures in the maximum values".

The cold, however, will last only a handful of hours: "The high pressure returns on Wednesday. On Saturday 26th, we expect a further deterioration due to a new perturbation coming from northern Europe and which will lead to rain and cold air".

THE DISCOMFORT - Meanwhile, the gusts of Mistral between 80 and 100 km / h that are lashing northern Sardinia, with waves 3 meters high, are causing inconvenience in the connections with Corsica. Moby makes it known that the first two morning rides from Santa Teresa Gallura to Bonifacio at 7 am and from Bonifacio to S. Teresa at 8.30 am have been skipped.

The Janas della Tirrenia ferry, in service on the Genoa-Porto Torres, was instead diverted to the port of Olbia, from where it will depart this evening towards the Ligurian port.

The Athara ship, in service this evening from Genoa to Porto Torres, on the other hand, will regularly make the connection to the Turritano port but will take the east route passing east of Corsica, sheltered from the strong north-west wind.
