The 131 still unusable: only the lane towards Sassari has been reopened
More disruption after this morning's tragedy in Macomer: traffic towards Cagliari is diverted at km 162 at the SP8Per restare aggiornato entra nel nostro canale Whatsapp
State road 131 will not be reopened to traffic before 8 or 9 pm this evening . For the entire day, traffic was diverted towards Cagliari on secondary roads , therefore from the Semestene junction and following the provincial road that connects Pozzomaggiore with the 129 bis (the Macomer-Bosa), near Macomer, where there was another accident, with a large vehicle that got stuck under a railway bridge , damaging it and therefore preventing the passage of the green train.
For this reason, traffic suffered a further serious slowdown, with motorists stopped under the scorching sun, waiting for hours . Traffic coming from Cagliari was also diverted to Tossilo , towards Macomer, then to continue on the provincial road to Pozzomaggiore, up to the Bonorva junction.
The 131 will be reopened in the evening, but only one lane in both directions, so overtaking lanes remain closed, where the damage caused is extensive and the road must be restored and made safe. All traffic remains diverted, in a northerly direction at Birori, for the state road 129. For the diversion in a southerly direction, it is done at the Cossoine junction, for the provincial road 292 or at the Bonorva junction.
