They made him find the robe hanging in the hallway of the courthouse and he wore it six years after the suspension. This morning magistrate Alessandro Di Giacomo was reinstated in his duties as judge of the Civil Section of the Tempio Court .

Di Giacomo returned to the courtroom after a judicial ordeal that began in December 2017 . He had been accused of disrupting the judicial auction of a villa in Baia Sardinia, purchased by other magistrates . Over the years he was acquitted by the Court of Rome together with four other people. The disciplinary proceedings also ended with full acquittal.

Di Giacomo, the sentences say, never favored anyone and committed no criminal or disciplinary offences . All the people in the Tempio Court auction case were acquitted, originally there were 12 (including two lawyers, two clerks and six magistrates). Alessandro Di Giacomo was deprived of his duties and almost all his salary for six years. Now he will be compensated by the State for the judicial error he suffered . This morning he was welcomed with long applause by lawyers, colleagues and staff of the Gallura Court.
