The investigating judge of the Tempio Court, three months after the Carabinieri blitz in the Telti countryside, revoked the prison measure for Gabriele Soro and Roberto Mecchia, accused of possession of about two tons of marijuana.

The measure of house arrest was triggered for the two . Gabriele Soro is the owner of the shed where the drugs were found, while Mecchia, an entrepreneur from the Peninsula who has long lived in Olbia, was present on the farm at the time of the Carabinieri raid.

Soro, defended by the criminal lawyer Antonello Desini, said after his arrest: "My family members have nothing to do with it, they knew nothing about marijuana."

Mecchia, assisted by the criminal lawyer Giampaolo Murrighile, has always rejected the accusation of being part of the group that was in charge of the marijuana, which arrived in Telti on refrigerated trucks for "opening". The Carabinieri of Olbia have provided the prosecutors with the results of the analyzes on marijuana, indicating an active ingredient greater than ten percent.
