Strong wind in Sulcis: a plant falls on Sp2

A Eucalyptus tree fell this morning, around 8:30, on the Sp2 between Carbonia and Villamassargia in the Piolanas area, about three kilometers from Barbusi. The collapse was caused by the strong wind that has been affecting Sulcis in the last few hours.

The Iglesias firefighters arrived on site and immediately cleared the roadway in the direction of Carbonia . Traffic continues regularly, but in several sections of the provincial road (in particular Tanì and Corongiu) there are large puddles of water due to the heavy rains of the night.
