Cyclone Harry and the exceptional weather events that have hit Sardinia in recent weeks have "completely compromised" oyster farming on the island.
This was reported by the regional councilor for environmental protection, Rosanna Laconi, during a hearing at the Chamber of Deputies focused on the damage caused by the bad weather.
"The provisional estimate of the damage caused to the Sardinia Region," Councilor Laconi herself stated during the hearing, " amounts to 280 million euros."
