He was driving an Alfa Romeo GT when the Carabinieri stopped him last night in Piazza Porta Nuova, in Sanluri: this is how a chain of troubles began for a twenty-three-year-old worker from the center of Medio Campidano.
An initial search revealed thirty grams of marijuana. The military decided to subject the young man to a drug test. But he refused.
The operation, however, did not stop there. The Carabinieri decided to extend the search to the young man's home: they found another 23 grams of marijuana, a small amount of cocaine, some cannabis seeds, and two illegally held 12-gauge cartridges. All the material was immediately seized.
The epilogue of the story saw the worker reported for possession of narcotics, illegal possession of ammunition and refusal to submit to toxicological tests. To these charges was also added the administrative sanction of withdrawal of the driving license.
