«Thanks to the commitment of the municipal administration of Stintino and the collaboration with the geographer Matteo Cara, the Stintino territory has been officially included in the circuit of the Paths of the Sardinia Region».

The municipal administration announced it, adding: «A recognition that confirms the work carried out in recent years to promote more sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism. The inclusion in the Sentieri della Sardegna is not just a formal achievement, but represents a concrete opportunity for our territory. It means being able to welcome hikers, nature lovers and responsible tourists, offering them marked and safe routes that allow them to discover Stintino from a different perspective. The municipal administration strongly supported this project with the aim of diversifying the tourist offer, focusing on a more balanced and sustainable model. Tourism linked to hiking and discovery of the territory allows for the deseasonalization of presences, offering new economic and work opportunities even in the less crowded months».

A benefit not only for the operators in the tourism sector, but for the entire Stintino community, which sees its territory enhanced and protected.

In parallel with the entry into the circuit of the Sentieri della Sardegna, the Municipality of Stintino has started an important training course for future environmental guides. The Aigae (Italian Association of Environmental Hiking Guides) training programs are currently underway, aimed at those who want to specialize in leading excursions and environmental outreach.

"A strategic investment that aims to create qualified professionals, capable of accompanying visitors to discover the territory with competence and ecological sensitivity. This initiative is part of a broader vision of sustainable development, where landscape protection and economic growth can go hand in hand."
