New agreement between the Municipality of Stintino and Poste Italiane for the delivery of correspondence in the outskirts of the town. The municipal administration has signed an important agreement aimed at improving the mail delivery service in the hamlet of Pozzo San Nicola.

The elimination of the postal boxes currently located on the outskirts of Pozzo San Nicola is planned, thus allowing the delivery of mail to domiciles with a street and house number. «This initiative was born from the desire to make the postal service more efficient and accessible to all citizens - underlines the mayor Rita Vallebella - guaranteeing the correct use of the service».

For all those who live in more isolated places or in the countryside and who already owned the postal box, the service will remain unchanged and will not be interrupted. To facilitate the transition to the new delivery system, affected residents will have to adapt by promptly communicating their house number to service providers, such as, for example, Enel, INPS, Abbanoa and other service providers. It will be the responsibility of each resident to ensure that their account is updated with the correct house number and that a letterbox compliant with the standards required for receiving mail is available.
