Sardinia great protagonist at the national championships of the international pastry federation.

Maria Grazia Frau from Siniscole and Michele Porcedda from Villacidro won gold in two of the four categories of the competition that took place last Sunday in Marina di Massa. Porcedda won with an innovative bread while Frau bewitched the jury with her artistic bread. A real work of art made up of 300 meticulous decorations (callae, leaves, roses, grapes, carnations, stems and various types of ears), which depicted two hearts decorated with Sardinia in the center and above an elderly man in a berrita. Of course, all edible and made with su fragmentarzu, an ancient Sardinian yeast.

"For the emotion I cried like a child - the artist from Siniscole commented - and I dedicate the award to my husband and my children who support me, my students and the Sardinian representative of the FIP Manolo Albano".
