The freedom of the 29-year-old of Algerian origins, homeless, unemployed and already known to the police, lasted only a few hours. He was reported at large in the last few hours for theft from a car and for resisting a public official .

The man has indeed struck again in the city and has been arrested by the Carabinieri. The latest incident occurred on Via Manno, where a resident reported to 112 the presence of a man suspiciously rummaging through a parked van. The officers, who responded quickly, were able to track down and secure the suspect before he could disappear.

Following a personal search, the young man was found in possession of a switchblade and a shattered bottleneck. He also had a backpack containing cash and identification documents, which were found to be the proceeds of a previous theft committed shortly before from a car parked in the same area.

Given the repeated conduct and the dangerous nature of the items found, the man was arrested for theft and charged with illegal possession of weapons or objects capable of causing harm. Following the completion of the standard procedures, as ordered by the judicial authorities, the 29-year-old was taken to court for a summary trial.
