Sestu , shocked by grief, will say goodbye tomorrow morning, in the church of San Giorgio, to little Lorenzo Corona, the child who died last night after choking on a morsel .

The boy would have turned five on April 16th. Initial attempts to rescue him the other evening by his parents and then by emergency workers were unsuccessful. Grief and tears erupted at the Collodi preschool. Someone placed a white rose on Lorenzo's desk.

"He was a cheerful, calm, and kind child," says school principal Marcella Pinna . "We will try to remember him in the best possible way, also trying to accompany his classmates in their grief. In the most gentle way possible."
Mayor Paola Secci expressed the grief of an entire community: " The news of the death of our little Lorenzo has broken everyone's hearts ."
