The first Chinese and Japanese restaurant is about to open in Senorbì. Where many years ago there was a physiotherapy clinic, a place that in all this time has remained empty with the “For Rent” sign posted on the windows and on the entrance, on Monday 15 November the first oriental cuisine restaurant in Trexenta will open its doors.

It will be able to accommodate up to three hundred seats (even if at the beginning there will be "only" one hundred people who will be able to sit at the table, also for a matter of compliance with anti-Covid regulations).

The typical oriental lamps, the minimal furniture and the oriental designs on the walls leave no room for doubt: after so many Sardinian and Italian restaurants, Senorbì too has decided to focus on traditional dishes from a distant and mysterious land. The bet belongs to the young entrepreneur Mirko Ji, an Italian name, Chinese origins, but living in Sardinia for years.

"We understand that this area of Trexenta is very well prepared to welcome new businesses - says the young owner Mirko Ji -, so after a small market survey and after talking with friends who live in these parts, we decided to focus on Senorbì, a beautiful center that always seems projected towards the future ".

The restaurant is run by a family, but young people from the area will also work there. "It is the right thing to do - continues the owner - to bring together different cultures to get the best of both from a professional point of view".

And then it is also a way to be loved by the country that is hosting the new business. "We must give something back to the territory that is welcoming us with so much affection", concludes Mirko Ji who also involved his brother Matteo and sister-in-law Angela Wu in this adventure.

The chef Danniel Zhao specializes in sushi and sashimi (as far as the cuisine of the Rising Sun is concerned) and in various traditional Chinese dishes, above all obviously rice.
