The symbolic headquarters of the campaign against the Tyrrhenian link will be rebuilt. Sa Barracca de Su Pardu, in Selargius, will be rebuilt today after being destroyed by fire . Investigations are underway into the motive, but it is easy to imagine that the perpetrators do not agree with the battle against the maxi-cable.

The reconstruction

Those who do not want the Tyrrhenian link outright are ready for reconstruction. The activists will meet again today in the Su Pardu countryside to begin the intervention. Yesterday evening they were already working to bring all the tools and materials to the countryside.

The meeting

Representatives of committees from all over the island are expected in Selargius, and in any case, representatives of the Rete Pratobello and the Presidio del popolo sardo, the groups that have always fought against energy speculation. "The symbols are sacred and must be protected," says Davide Meloni, of the Uta committee. "Rebuilding them means starting over, giving new life to ideas and spirit to the battle."

The battle

Throughout the Island, associations and committees are reorganizing the mobilization, taking stock of the situation in light of the imminent deadlines. The first is the one related to the sixty days that the Government has to challenge the law on suitable areas approved on December 5 by the Regional Council. In this sense, the deadline is already set for February 5, 2025. That will be the key to the entire political legislative game on the management of the issue related to the wind and photovoltaic invasion of Sardinia.
