500 thousand euros won in Sassari at the Gratta e Vinci. "Luck is blind but this time it saw us right", comment Patrizia Capitta, 40, and Fabio Tetti, 39, owners of the Tabacchi on via Baldedda, in the Monte Rosello neighborhood, where the win occurred yesterday morning. "The 5 euro scratch card was taken at 8:30 by a lady, not from the area - explains Fabio - who, judging by her physical condition, really needed it. We hope she makes good use of it and solves her problems".
The woman, very excited, asked for confirmation of the win, perhaps incredulous at what had happened to her. "We are very happy - adds Patrizia -. This victory is also a little bit ours and the neighborhood's". And Patrizia herself has one more reason to be happy. "I just lost my grandmother and I was sad. When I heard about the win I started thinking that she helped us". The two owners, a couple in real life, have known each other since adolescence, both living in via Baldedda, "but on opposite sides of the street".
"I worked for years in London as a chef - Tetti recalls - but I decided to come back because I wanted to do something for the neighborhood". Capitta, after an experience in a children's business, wanted to open Tabacchi: "You must never give up". The place, opened in 2019 and where you can also make any type of payment, from F24s to bank transfers, has recently reached its fifth year of business. "With the victory at Gratta e Vinci - conclude Patrizia and Fabio - we have one more reason to celebrate".
