The Regional Administrative Court of Sardinia has annulled with an ordinance the denial of enrollment of a child in a private school in Sassari . The measure was adopted in acceptance of an appeal by the parents of the child (a minor with disabilities) represented by the lawyer Sergio Deiana. The administrative judges have established that a private school cannot reject the request for enrollment of a child , especially if with disabilities, using the argument of the unavailability of places and applying the chronological criterion (order of presentation of applications).

The TAR (president Marco Buricelli) has therefore suspended the denial that blocked the enrollment in the first class of the Primary School for the school year 2025 2026. The child, six years old, was already attending the Kindergarten of the same institute and was also following a therapeutic path . The Regional Guarantor for childhood and adolescence also took an interest in the case.

The TAR accepted the requests of the lawyer Sergio Deiana, the judges wrote that the child's condition requires "the adoption of every relevant initiative aimed at guaranteeing, where possible, the continuation of the scholastic path in the institution of interest, also in order to facilitate the continuation of the educational and therapeutic paths started".
