The request for release from prison for Luca Silanos , one of the three people investigated for the attempted murder of a 62-year-old last July in Sassari , has been rejected.

The investigating judge Gian Paolo Piana decided this who had already expressed an unfavorable opinion a week ago on the other two involved in the affair , Alessio and Stefano Levanti.

Lorenzo Galisai, Silanos' lawyer, has announced that he will present a request to the Review Court regarding the precautionary custody measure of his client, currently detained in Bancali with the other two people .

On July 19, three people attacked a man from Sassari who was in a bar on Via Duca degli Abruzzi, hitting him on the back of the head with a blunt object , perhaps a hammer. The 62-year-old had suffered a head injury and is still undergoing treatment.

The investigations are being conducted by the Carabinieri, by order of the prosecutor and the PM Maria Paola Asara. The defense lawyers for the Levantis are Paolo Spano and Marco Palmieri.
