Sardinia experiences another "African flare-up": highs above 38 degrees Celsius.

Temperatures will rise again, with highs expected to reach close to 40 degrees again.

An "African blaze" - explains Lorenzo Tedici , meteorologist of IlMeteo.it - which will not only affect the Island but also a good part of the other regions,

Today the peak of the thermometers will be around 38 degrees, with temperatures perceived to be even higher, in Sardinia and Sicily , but it will reach 36-37° also in Florence and Terni and 35-36°C in Bologna, Cremona, Ferrara, Frosinone, Mantua, Modena, Parma, Pistoia, Prato and Reggio Emilia.

On the island, the Arpas website states, temperatures will drop slightly tomorrow, but could rise again on Thursday and Friday.
