The preliminary hearing has opened before Judge Giorgio Altieri which will have to decide on the indictment of the leaders of Saras and Petraco , accused by the Cagliari Anti- Mafia District Directorate of money laundering , at the end of the investigation into the purchase of Kurdish oil from the 'Iraq.

The part of the investigation that hypothesized that crude oil was purchased by ISIS was removed and still under investigation, prosecutors Guido Pani and Danilo Tronci had solicited the trial for eight people, including the manager Dario Scafardi, in addition to Saras and Petraco companies. And this morning, before the Gup of the Court of Cagliari, the deputy prosecutor Pani renewed the request for indictment , while the first defenders who discussed in the courtroom asked for the acquittal.

The Iraqi state , called into question as an offended party, did not appear as a civil party .

In the end, the judge then postponed the hearing to October 20 and November 24 to get all the defenders to speak and decide.
