From Macomer to Silanus . All ready for San Lorenzo , which means shooting stars, but also culture, shows and traditions.

The most awaited appointment of the summer returns to the capital of Marghine, with the magical night, with events of great cultural significance, which will take place on the evening of August 10, in the archaeological area of Tamuli, one of the most important sites of the whole island.

This is the thirteenth edition of "Tamuli, in the night of San Lorenzo", an event conceived by the Esedra cooperative, with the aim of enhancing and promoting the archaeological areas, musical traditions and typical products of Sardinia. The appointment is at 20.

First you can admire the sunset with the ancestral dance of the masks "Is Arestes e S'Utzu Prestitu" of Sorgono . This will be followed by the performance "Rocks and Stardust", written and interpreted by Monica Corimbi and the storytellers of the Bocheteatro laboratory. Then, with the participation of the Nuorese Astronomical Association, it will be possible to admire the stars, protagonists of the evening, with songs, dances and more, in a context full of magic.

However, San Lorenzo is not just shooting stars. It is in fact a big party in Silanus, established in the 1950s to coincide with the return of the emigrants for their holidays.

In addition to the costume parades, folkloric shows in the square and pariglie are scheduled, there will also be the awaited poetry competition in the Sardinian language, a tradition that has always characterized this important summer event, with the poets Bruno Agus, Giuseppe Porcu and Salvatore Senes, who will be accompanied by the tenors of Silanus, Santu Larettu and Sa Maddalena.

A party also characterized by collective games for children.
