San Gavino, the town under water: homes and shops flooded, damage also in the countryside

A terrible water bomb has put San Gavino Monreale under water in a few places .

The rain became very heavy after 10pm and the lower part of Via Roma flooded, causing damage to homes and businesses.

There was also heavy damage in the countryside and in the industrial area of the town near the Mannu stream : the water reached a level of one metre.

The intervention of the firefighters was providential, working tirelessly to deal with the emergencies.
