After two months of intense lessons, the "Safe on the street" project, promoted by Auser with the Municipality, came to a conclusion today. In Piazza Roma, invaded by about a hundred schoolchildren, the final day of a project aimed at elementary school students took place, who had become protagonists of the highway code which today they tried to put into practice between practical exercises and playful aspects.

As Mayor Pietro Morittu explained, «we are investing in young people by activating road safety education courses dedicated to them, allocating part of the proceeds deriving from the sanctions with the aim of ensuring that our children are, from an early age, bearers of good safety".

The project offered pupils specific lessons from the traffic police on signage. Addressing the issue of road safety in schools has fostered greater awareness of the importance of complying with the rules.
