Carabinieri from the RIS (Italian Special Investigations Unit) conducted a new inspection, led by Deputy Alessandro Bosco, at the home of those under investigation for the disappearance of Rosa Bechere, Maria Giovanna Demuro, and Giorgio Beccu.
In the presence of defense attorney Giampaolo Murrighile (who is assisting the two together with his colleague Angelo Merlini) , the military analyzed the home in Su Canale, a hamlet of Monti, where the couple lived in the past, searching for biological traces with luminol.
Reportedly, they're trying to locate a trapdoor, a well, or a hidden cavity in a wall. But so far, they've been unsuccessful.
The new investigation into the disappearance of Bechere (the pensioner from Olbia who hasn't been heard from for three years) has suddenly accelerated in recent weeks.
To date, no evidence has been found against the individuals under investigation. The case against Maria Giovanna Meloni and Giorgio Beccu had been closed.
