Red alert for bad weather in Sardinia: storm Gabri arrives
Extreme criticality for the eastern sectors, "orange" bulletin between today and tomorrow for Gallura, Cagliaritano, Sulcis and the center of the island

Red alert for bad weather in Sardinia: storm Gabri is coming.
The maximum hydrogeological risk for the weather events expected for this evening and tomorrow was reported in the new Civil Protection bulletin issued in the early afternoon: the high criticality applies to eastern Sardinia and in particular to Sarrabus, Gerrei, Ogliastra and Baronia.
It becomes orange - yesterday the criticality reported was yellow - for central Sardinia, Gallura and Cagliari and Sulcis. Moderate alert, however, for all other areas of the Island.
Precipitation will be heavy and long-lasting starting in the next few hours and a particularly busy night is expected.
In all areas marked in red, all schools must be closed and it is recommended to travel by car only if necessary.
Rainfall today, Friday, will be accompanied by strong easterly winds, with gusts that could reach 100 km/h.
