The Decentralized Functional Center of Civil Protection has issued a new weather alert, after the one relating to strong winds and storm surges valid until tomorrow at noon.

Due to a depression vortex that will bring rain and thunderstorms to the island, starting from 2 pm and ending at 8.59 pm today, the alarm is yellow (ordinary criticality) due to hydrogeological risk in the Iglesiente and Campidano alert areas.

And always yellow for hydraulic and hydrogeological risk, on the alert areas Montevecchio Pischinappiu, Tirso and Logudoro.

Until tomorrow « strong north-westerly winds are expected starting from the northern sectors and the reliefs , up to storms along the coasts and ridges. Sea storms along the exposed coasts – reads the note issued last night -. An attenuation of the phenomena is foreseen in the second part of Tuesday 10 January».
