The weather warning issued yesterday by the regional civil protection was shortened in time and expanded in space.

A new warning arrived today: the code yellow alert is no longer in force until 11.59pm on February 29th, but until 5.59pm on the same day.

The areas affected are Iglesiente, Campidano Montevecchio, Pischinappiu, Flumendosa, Flumineddu and Gallura.

Unstable weather on the island, with scattered rain and thunderstorms coinciding with the arrival of the Tyrrhenian cyclone. A clear spell should arrive from Friday.
