Bad accident this morning on the new state road 554, in the Quartucciu area.

Two cars were involved, there were also two injured but they are not in serious condition.

The crash occurred in the section where the 125 enters the four-lane road.

On site there were rescuers as well as traffic police for surveys and local police for traffic management.

Long queues quickly formed on the road: up to an hour's journey for motorists arriving from Cagliari.
