Drama in a house in via Sant'Antonio in Quartu, where the lifeless body of a man was found.

A family member, a resident of the Peninsula, raised the alarm. The victim is Fabrizio Marongiu, a 50-year-old former traffic policeman : for a few hours, he investigated at 360 degrees without excluding any hypothesis.

In the afternoon, the coroner Professor Roberto Demontis, who arrived on the spot with the investigators of the Cagliari Police Headquarters and the Quartu Police Department, carried out a new thorough inspection that put an end to the mystery: Maorongiu would have died of natural causes, perhaps an illness. The death would date back to at least a week ago.

The investigations were conducted by the head of Mobile Fabrizio Mustaro and by the substitute Commissioner Gianni Noto: no trace of violence was found in the victim's body.

The man may have fallen out of bed and died on the floor of the house.
