The silver votive heart, of considerable historical value, stolen on Valentine's Day from the Consolata church in Porto Torres has been recovered by the Carabinieri.

The military identified a woman, the alleged perpetrator of the theft, and reported her.

After viewing the images recorded by cameras in the area, within a few days a 59-year-old was identified and then tracked down.

The precious object was returned to the parish.
