Porto Torres: man succumbed to a sudden heart attack, an air ambulance was useless
He was 63 years old, the doctors tried in every way to revive him
He died of a sudden heart attack in his home in Porto Torres . The immediate intervention of the Areus helicopter rescue was useless. The emergency arose in the afternoon. The alarm went off shortly after 5pm when the 63-year-old man , resident in the center of Porto Torres, felt ill while he was in his home.
The Avis ambulance rushed to the scene immediately, also alerting the 118 helicopter , which landed urgently a few minutes later in Piazza degli Eroi dell'Onda, a large space on the seafront which allowed the vehicle to land safely. In an instant they coordinated the rescue.
The doctor and health workers tried repeatedly to resuscitate him but there was nothing they could do for the man, who fell into an unconscious state . Despite the doctor activating all the maneuvers, the 63-year-old never recovered.
