Personal injury and aggravated damage: these are the crimes to which the two young Senegalese who attacked the security officer of the Lidl supermarket in Porto Torres will have to answer. Under the influence of alcohol they showed up at the cashier with two cans of beer claiming that they had already paid for the goods by delivering 5 euros. When the saleswoman reacted by claiming that no banknotes had been cashed, the two went into a rage and insulted the security officer, a 40-year-old man who intervened to remove them from the shop. Before heading to the exit, they attacked the employee of the store with kicks and punches, and then, still shouting offensive words, one of them had kicked the glass of the entrance door.

The dispute had continued in the forecourt of the supermarket where the security officer was once again attacked in front of the customers present. Alarmed by the carabinieri of the Porto Torres company, the attackers were stopped and reported to the judicial authorities. In the meantime, the 118 ambulance was also alerted: the doctors assigned the attacked person two days of prognosis.

The military heard witnesses and collected camera images to reconstruct the incident and assess possible further responsibilities.
