Porto Torres, 54-year-old found dead at home: autopsy ordered

This afternoon, a man was found dead in his home on Via Mazzini, a short walk from the Basilica of San Gavino, not far from the center of Porto Torres . He is a 54-year-old unemployed man who has lived a solitary life . His body was discovered around 3:00 PM following a tip-off.

Carabinieri officers from the Porto Torres branch and the magistrate responded to the scene and, with the authorization of the Public Prosecutor's Office, ordered the body to be transferred to the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Sassari, where an autopsy will be performed in the next few hours to determine the cause of death.

The first hypothesis is that it was a natural death.
