The Is Bingias Market in Pirri will be closed from October 7th to November 2nd. The works requested by the operators have become unavoidable in light of the infiltrations that occurred during the last heavy rains. Regular reopening is scheduled for November 4th 2024 .

Further interventions will also be carried out, in particular some of which will resolve the water system and the access doors. The interventions on the roof of the structure will make the operators safer, who will no longer be exposed to the consequences of downpours and sudden interruption of service due to collapses of part of the false ceiling and copious water infiltrations.

The communication was given this morning, Friday 27 September 2024, by the president of the Municipality of Pirri, Maria Laura Manca , by the councilor delegated to the Municipality for productive activities, Eugenio Spiga, by the councilor for productive activities, Carlo Serra, and by the municipal manager Alessandro Cossa.

The Municipal Administration has confirmed its willingness to limit the inconvenience and close the facility for the time strictly necessary. The urgency of the work, however also linked to the safety of operators and citizens, does not allow to postpone the intervention further.
