The strike of the students of the "Sebastiano Satta" high school of Nuoro is on hold.

The boys returned to school today after a week of protests, culminating on Saturday with a demonstration, against the stringent rules and prohibitions imposed by the principal: that is, no piercings, no long nails, no recreation, withdrawal of cell phones before lessons, only one move per class to drink and food distributors.

The students resumed their lessons today after the opening of the director Carla Rita Marchetti, who summoned the teaching staff for this afternoon to discuss the requests of the 400 students.

The principal had already opened to some requests in recent days, in particular on the possibility of returning to recess with the distancing and keeping the cell phone off in the desk.

As for the ban on piercings and long nails, the manager explained that it was not her decision but "the regulation of the Department of Motor Sciences for compliance with safety regulations in the gym". It was therefore not an "aesthetic" question.
