One meter for each year, told in that mural that stands out in the center of Macomer, in the very central Viale Gramsci, where the skilled hands of the artists called by the ProPositivo cultural association for the Festival of Resilience created it in a few days and last night it was inaugurated , with a large and well-attended street party, with old and new managers, football players, many young people, municipal administrators, representatives of all the other football teams and cultural associations.

A mural that tells the story of the last 100 years of yellow and red colors. The colors of the team, the Ads Macomer Calcio, founded in 1923, but also of the town and of the many personalities linked to the history of city sport. It is the first phase of the great celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the sports association. Also in the square was the municipal administration, including the icon of Macomenese football, Mariano Barria, now the municipal councilor for sport. A significant presence.

"The celebration of the hundredth anniversary of the sports club is a very important event for our town - says the mayor Riccardo Uda - a fact that unites the community behind the yellow and red colors". The current president of Macomer Calcio, Francesco Marongiu, thanked the ProPositivo association, with its president Gianluca Atzori, for having dedicated the Festival of Resilience to the history of the sports club. Then it was a big party, until late at night.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ads Macomer Calcio, various initiatives are planned, such as the creation of a book, co-written by the journalist Paoletto Sechi and Tonino Cadoni. In September, on the other hand, it will be an all-red and yellow party, with many events and tournaments.
